Teams had 72-hours to produce a movie under their assigned horror genre and required elements to include in their movie. In these challenging times to maintain safe movie making, these teams shined through. We are grateful for the contest and festival teams for keeping the horror community strong.
For the first time, GuignolFest expands the movie watching experience with showcasing work done separately from the competition.
2020 festival team movies came from all over the western U.S. to help make the annual event a success.
All entry fees were donated to Clinton Street Theater's fundraiser to keep them afloat during the pandemic closure.
GuignolFest 2020 premiered on CST's CoVideothon channel and can still be viewed for FREE! Thank you for watching!
The 2020 greeting comes from Tim Cappello!
Tim, the original Sexy Sax Man, is known for his musical performance in the movie, The Lost Boys. As a professional musician, he had been part of the Tina Turner Band for over 15 years. Thanks for watching this promo!
Every year, all teams are required to use an assigned prop/weapon to in their film. This year, we got a bonus viral video from a "mystery source." Watch how teams used any form of the video be it the video, screenshot, music, or other.

2019 GuignolFest teams and audience: You've watched countless Roger Corman movies, been spooked by Victoria Price's dad, Vincent, and witnessed Amanda Detmer get slammed by a bus in a favorite horror movie. They all want to say hello!
You may recognize Greg Ellery from the horror film (ahem!), "The Room," by Tommy Wisseau. Well, Greg creeps up and welcomes you to another year of GuignolFest Horror Movies!
Dennis Dunaway, our friend and original bassist for the Alice Cooper Group released a horror music video! We played the Pacific Northwest premier of the video at the 2019 GuignolFest Screening & Awards event.
