Dylan and Julia have worked as characters or assisting with the casting and art department. Featured bands include: Superchunk, Municipal Waste, and Summer Cannibals.
"Erasure" (Official Music Video, 2018)
Band: Superchunk
Album: What a Time to be Alive
Director: Rob McConnaughy
This is was a video that Dylan Hillerman and myself assisted in casting and also were extras. You will recognize some Portland friends!
"In the video, innocent citizens and commuters deal with the aftershocks of asinine Trump tweets about haters and losers, but cleverly, only in those precious, silent moments of exhaustion in the shower or traffic where we all want to say, “Shut up, shut up, shut up.”
“The song ‘Erasure' is about the desire and attempt, on the part of the old white men currently running this country, to erase the experience, history, and existence of entire groups of people who don’t look or think like them … When director Whitey McConnaughy heard the song and started thinking about video ideas, he heard another angle, which is also a theme of (the) album: Given today’s anxiety-inducing, creeping authoritarianism, how do we get through each day when we feel like we’re losing our minds?”

"Breathe Grease" (Official Music Video, 2017)
Band: Municipal Waste
Director: Rob McConnaughy
This is was a fantasy, over-the-top party video that Dylan Hillerman and myself assisted in casting and also were extras. Think about the movie, "Animal House." Look for me in a silver dress getup and Dylan as an Alice Cooper look-alike. You may recognize many of your Portland friends in this video!
"Say My Name" (Official Music Video, 2016)
Band: Summer Cannibals
Director: Rob McConnaughy
This is was a fun video that Dylan Hillerman and myself assisted the art department and also were extras. We made a bunch of masks for the actors to wear. When you see the lead female remove her mask and yell at the person to the right of her-- that's me! Dylan is lurking behind me as well.
"It’s a hopeful, melodic love song in the midst of a record “about the frustration and anger that comes with the decline of a relationship"—feelings that came through loud and clear on the thrashing, chugging album opener "Go Home." There are shades of late 90s Sleater-Kinney in the loud-quiet-loud of it all, not least in Boudreaux’s voice, snarling at all the right moments."
